  2. Medicine list

    Include supplements and hormone use

  3. Your questions

Note what you want to understand

How much is the first appointment?

£199 for a 30-minute face-to-face consultation. Blood tests are extra: £175 for the baseline panel or £50 for the hormone review panel. See pricing

Is there a monthly plan?

Yes. If TRT is suitable, the £99 a month care plan covers follow-up appointments, monitoring blood tests and standard testosterone treatment. 12-month minimum, then 4 weeks’ notice. Read more

Who does the blood testing?

Randox Health, arranged through the clinic.

When are blood tests taken?

Your blood test is done during your appointment at the clinic.

What forms does testosterone treatment come in?

Testosterone can be given as an injection, a topical gel or capsules. Your clinician will talk you through which suits you best.

Will a consultation guarantee treatment?

No. It depends on your results and health. Advice, more tests or referral may be better.

Does low energy mean low testosterone?

Not necessarily. Sleep, stress, lifestyle and other conditions are common causes.

Can TRT affect fertility?

Yes, it can stop sperm production. Tell us if you want children now or in future.

Is this an NHS service?

No, Northstar is private. It doesn’t replace your GP.

Will my GP prescribe or monitor private treatment?

You can’t assume so. We’ll explain who is responsible for prescribing and monitoring.

Can I bring previous results?

Yes, bring any recent results. We’ll tell you if they can be used or if new tests are needed.

Where are appointments?

146 Malone Road, Belfast, BT9 5LH. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4–9pm, from 1 December 2026.

What if I need urgent help?
